How Do I....
Obtain A Repeat Prescription?
We have an online system for requesting repeat prescriptions using EMIS Access. This system allows you to see your repeat prescription list and tick the items you require. It links directly to the clinical computer system thus avoiding errors and delays. You must collect your log in and password instruction letter from the surgery in order to activate and access.

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term
treatment. Requests in writing or by calling at the surgery should be made. We are unable to take orders or issue repeat prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of
normal surgery hours.
Please allow 48 hours before collection and make allowances
for weekends and public holidays. Where possible, give exact drug names when
ordering. If your prescriptions are printed by the computer, please use the
repeat request slip on the right hand side of your prescription to order your
next prescription.
Please note that new medications and prescriptions NOT on repeat may take
up to a week to prescribe
Requests will not be taken over the telephone. If you would like us to post your
prescription to you please enclose an SAE. You can also arrange with a local pharmacy to collect your prescriptions for you. Please organise this directly with your chosen pharmacy.
Please refer to the information above for prescription requests.
