How Do I...
Make An Appointment?
Appointments can be
made online via EMIS, by telephoning 020 7602 3797 or by calling at the surgery. Routine appointments may be made well in
advance (maximum six weeks), which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time more suitable to your
requirements.
The surgery also holds an emergency clinic in the mornings. (Please note this is for medical emergencies
only.) If you need to be seen by the doctor urgently, please contact the surgery before 10.30am and explain
this to the receptionist who may ask for more information. This information will be relayed to the doctor on call who will either ask reception to book you in that morning or opt to give you advice over the phone. Please bear in mind that if you are booked in to the morning emergency clinic you may have quite a long wait to be seen and should remember that the doctor will only deal
with the problem requiring immediate attention.
The doctors also offer telephone consultations, where appropriate - please enquire with reception.
Late Attendance
If you arrive late for your appointment for the doctor or practice nurse, this will inconvenience other
patients and you will be asked to make a new appointment.
How Do I...
Cancel An Appointment?
Please do let us know if you need to cancel an appointment you no longer need. You can do this by:
• EMIS (if you are logged on to this system).
• Replying "Please cancel - no longer required" to any SMS text reminder we may send you.
• Telephoning the surgery.
Please note: If you miss three consecutive appointments
(without informing the surgery) you may be removed from the practice list.
How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?
If you believe that you may need a home visit, please try to telephone during surgery hours, preferably by
10.30am. The doctor may wish to discuss your symptoms first before deciding to visit.
Emergency Visits
To contact the doctor in an emergency, telephone the surgery on 020 7602 3797. If the surgery is closed a
recorded message will give the number of the deputising service who will contact the doctor on call.
How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?
Please contact the surgery after 16:30 for results of routine blood tests, x-rays and scans, allowing five working days for
the results to be received.
